Image Supply Specifications

To enhance the digital presentation of your flooring products and streamline the process of creating accurate virtual samples, we request that images be supplied according to the specifications outlined below. By doing so, you not only ensure higher-quality digital replicas, leading to a more engaging customer experience but also benefit from a quicker and more cost-effective project flow.

• Resolution Requirements: Submit images with a minimum resolution of 1000 px x 1000 px, ideally 4000 px x 4000 px.
• True Colour Accuracy: Images must be colour-graded to represent the product’s real-world appearance closely.
• Flat Swatches Without Distortions: It’s imperative that swatches are photographed flat, camera at 90 degrees, and free from shadows or distortions.
• Repeating Textures: Please ensure that the sample textures are seamless, meaning they can be repeated in both x and y directions without noticeable breaks.

Supplied Product Data Specifications

To supply the necessary product data for creating virtual samples, please include the following details in your Excel, JSON, XML, or CSV file:

1. Product Name: The official name of the flooring product
2. Variant Name: Any variations of the product, such as different colours, sizes, or materials
3. Texture Name: The specific file which identifies the texture, used for the creation of 3D samples. This serves to support detailing of textures such as normal, roughness and emission maps
4. Texture Scale (Width, Height): The size of the texture mapping on the 3D sample, typically provided in metre measurements (e.g., 0.75 for a 75cm square).
5. Length: The physical length of the sample. Alternatively, a ruler can be included in the image along one edge for an accurate representation.
6. Width: The physical width of the sample. Alternatively, a ruler can be included in the image along one edge for an accurate representation.
7. Repeat Pattern Dimensions: When available, dimensions of the repeat pattern that aid in accurate image cropping and pattern precision.
8. Thickness: The physical thickness of the flooring product.
9. SKU/ID/UPC: Although optional, these identifiers are useful for search, management, and support.
10. Appropriate File Naming: Files should be named clearly and systematically for efficient processing and management.
