Augmented reality is right now one of the fastest growing industries in the world, as it proves itself a highly effective business tool.

Of course, as augmented reality designers ourselves we could rightly be accused of being a bit subjective, so here are some hard facts and statistics to back this up.

Augmented reality has come a long way since it really took off back in 2016 with the launch of Pokemon Go – with the app now totalling over 800 million downloads. And, we’ve been fortunate to work with some top brands like Samsung, Argos and Mastercard in recent times too. The great thing is that as technology and hardware evolves and awareness of the capabilities and uses of AR grows, AR has really opened up to all and isn’t just reserved for the big players.

AR isn’t just a nice to have or a gimmick – it really does pay its way with strong return-on-investment.
