National Trust for Scotland – Brodie Castle Treasure Hunt Experience
National Trust for Scotland

Immersive and interactive AR visitor attractions
The National Trust for Scotland is the largest member organisation in Scotland, supported by over 380,000 members to protect more than 100 treasured heritage locations for generations to come.
With the tourism industry in Scotland worth an estimated £11bn a year, The National Trust for Scotland turned to augmented reality (AR) as a way to engage with visitors in an increasingly competitive market.
By tapping into Reydar’s ready-made AR channel and the Reydar team’s award-winning AR expertise, an immersive AR tourism campaign was created to inspire families to connect with Scottish heritage in a unique and innovative way.

Magical AR experiences brought to life with the Reydar App
Using the magic of AR, visitors to Brodie Castle are able to bring a 3D animation of Brodie the rabbit to life, take photos with the animated 3D character, and share them across social media.
The AR tourism campaign has inspired a new generation of members to support The National Trust for Scotland and provided the organisation with an AR platform in Reydar that can be used to quickly and easily deploy immersive AR experiences across all of the Trust’s locations.
